Our People Analytics team is responsible for providing high-quality data, reports, and analytics to deliver key people insights to our business. Our insights drive evidence-based decision-making about people and the needs of our business.

As the People Analytics Specialist , you will collaborate closely with teammates throughout HR, and executive leaders of multiple cross-functional departments, gleaning meaningful stories from Bloomberg's workforce data. Through your analytical resourcefulness, we will optimize HR efforts and the employee experience.
We'll trust you to:
• Prototype, build and enhance data models and solutions for advanced reporting and analysis .
• Work closely with HR Insights partners to develop metrics and performance indicators to support and resolve people-related business priorities, strategies, and challenges.
• Support the data analytics roadmap by collaborating with Qlik developers to design, test and roll out compelling dashboards.
• Collaborate with HR Stakeholders to provide valued data analyses and actionable insights.
• Transform data into compelling narratives and visualizations that resonate with executive-level stakeholders , driving awareness and action on workforce priorities.
• Support ad - hoc requests and provide day-to-day reporting and analytics support to HR Business Partners, Leadership, and business clients.
• Ensure prioritization and timely delivery of requests while maintaining data accuracy, and consistency.

You'll need to have:
• 5+ years of experience in advanced analytics focused on delivering insights and driving meaningful impact with at least 3 years of working in People Analytics.
• Proven expertise in building robust data models from complex data sources to generate analyses and insights.
• Hands-on experience querying with SQL and applying statistical concepts using Python , R, SPSS, or other similar programming languages .
• Experience with turning ambiguous business requirements into actionable deliverables .
• Self-motivated with an enthusiastic team spirit and strong collaboration skills .
• Extreme attention to detail .
• An ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with care.
• A bachelor's degree in an applicable field, such as Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Industrial/Organization Psychology (disciplines with substantial scientific and quantitative training preferred) .
We'd love to see:
• Experience in BI development or other data visualization techniques and tools
• Advanced degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Industrial/Organization Psychology .
• E xperience with business intelligence tools like Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with Workday and/or other HR packages
